Ayala Dance Production

It has been an absolute pleasure to serve as the Dance Director at Ayala High School. I am honored to be part of a program that is filled with tradition, passion, and excellence. It is hard to believe that the semester has flown by so quickly. Thirteen years ago, we offered our first beginning dance class with 32 students, and this year, we continue to grow, now boasting over 200 dancers! I would like to thank Mrs. Yarboi, Mrs. Taylor, Dr. Ashby, and Mrs. Durham for their support and encouragement in establishing and offering dance classes within our Visual and Performing Arts and Physical Education Departments. We eagerly anticipate continuing our legacy of dance education and performances with both new and returning students in the upcoming years.

To the student directors, this has been an incredible semester. Your passion, leadership, and love for dance have shone through in every performance and moment on the stage. Thank you for dedicating your time and energy to the dance program. I look forward to many more performances this year, especially the Spring Dance Concert. To the Costume Crew, Good Vibes Committee members, and Dance Captains, thank you for all your hard work, kindness, and commitment in preparing for the Fall Dance Concert. To the seniors, thank you for everything you have done to make our program so successful over the years. May you apply the leadership skills gained from the Ayala Dance Program in all your future endeavors. Share your joy for dance and uplifting spirit with those around you as you embark on the next chapter of life. Enjoy every moment of the second semester!

A special thanks to Mrs. Wong, the Key Club, the Poly Club, the Chinese Club, Ms. Yeh, Mr. and Mrs. Davis, Abby Lane, Mr. DeVillez, Mrs. Martinez, Mrs. Lee Bearden, all Ayala staff working backstage to ensure a smooth show, and our Ayala custodial and security staff for keeping us safe. To the dance parents, thank you for your unwavering support. Our program's success is due in large part to your help, love, and dedication to these talented dancers.
